BMUN LXI: Quite a Weekend!

Congratulations to the many Albany Model UN Club members whose work was recognized at the Berkeley Model UN Conference last weekend! Of the thirty AHS students who attended the Conference, half came home with awards.  Mari Kamiya, Lucas Kampman, Yumi Kobayashi, Nancy Li, Chris Mullaney, Regina Park, Spencer Perry, Ingrid Rosenthal, Jeffrey Shi, Jerry Wu, Jonathan Wu, Jimmy Yan and Felix Yoon won research and writing awards.  Moreover, John Layton was commended for his performance in the bilingual deliberations of the model Union of South American Nations, Hannon Ayer was commended for his work in the Bilderberg Summit simulation, and Regina Park and Jerry Wu received commendations for their performance in the model World Bank. 

Thank you to Adria-Ann McMurray, Rebecca Molinari, Rob Mullaney and Tom Reilly for volunteering to help chaperone the participation of the Albany Model UN Club in the Conference, and to all of the Club members who attended the Conference for making the weekend a real pleasure for the chaperones.
